Brantford OPP Building

Brantford , Ontario

New Brant OPP Headquarters

The Brant OPP had outgrown the more than 60-year-old building that served as their detachment headquarters. The Ontario Provincial Police and the County’s residents will now be well-served by a modern and efficient builiding.

The new single storey building with mezzanine includes four cells, storage rooms, a secure weapons room, separate offices for sergeants, and a room that can be used for lectures. As well, it has locker and fitness rooms and a dispatch office.

An updated CCTV System was installed including cell monitoring. Other features include evidence vaults and secure sally-port allowing officers direct access to the holding cells.

This building also acts as an emergency response facility for the Mayor to be able to set up a command post if necessary.
