New Elderly Care / Assisted Living Facility

Initially established in 1970, current residents have recently moved into this expanded
and modernized facility, increasing its current care capacity from 109 to 160.
This five-storey building is constructed of masonry bearing walls, structural
steel frames and precast concrete floor and roof slabs, with masonry veneer,
stucco, and siding.
Described as a Continuum of Care Campus, it features a Centre of Excellence,
including a corporate office for Jarlette and community space.
This space houses a classroom and living lab space for secondary and
post-secondary student use, as well as a basket of seniors’ focused services for
residents and the community as a whole.
