Simcoe Manor & Village Senior Residence Redevelopment
Beeton, Ontario
Complete Redevelopment of Seniors Residences
The redevelopment of Simcoe Manor marks a bold and transformative step in redefining seniors' care in Simcoe County. This visionary $312,152,000 project will replace the aging long-term care facility with a modern, purpose-built campus designed to support aging-in-place while addressing the region’s growing demand for senior living options.
Anchored by a new 160-bed long-term care home—an increase from the previous 126 beds—the campus also reimagines Simcoe Village, expanding its supportive housing offering to meet the evolving needs of seniors. The result is a fully integrated Continuum of Care model that provides a seamless transition between various levels of support, allowing residents to remain within their community as their needs change.
Spanning over 490,000 square feet, the development will be organized into five low-rise towers and deliver more than 337 new and revitalized housing units. The housing mix has been thoughtfully curated to promote social inclusion and housing diversity, including independent living suites, affordable rentals, co-housing models, and life-lease townhomes and garden homes. These residences are designed not only for comfort and accessibility but also to foster connection, dignity, and independence.
By combining care, community, and innovation in one comprehensive development, the new Simcoe Manor Campus is positioned to become a benchmark for senior living in Ontario—where health services, social amenities, and housing converge to support vibrant aging.
