Complete Redevelopment of Seniors Residences

The redevelopment of this long-term care home will see a ground-up rebuild of the existing ageing Simcoe Manor. This redevelopment will expand the current space to 160 beds, 34 more from the preexisting 126. In addition to the Manor, the supportive housing facility for Seniors, Simcoe Village, will be revamped, with additional seniors housing and services.

The 490,785 sq. ft. campus will feature five low-rise towers and more than 337 modernized housing units, increasing over 140 spaces from the original build. Housing types will include a mixture of life-lease suites, rental apartments, retirement living, life-lease garden homes, rental townhomes, affordable housing for seniors, supportive housing, and co-housing rentals.
