New 3 Storey Long Term Care with Apartments

Jarlette Health Services broke ground on a new three-storey, 128-bed facility on
the east end of Stayner in late December 2022. The new facility will incorporate
the existing 49 beds at the current Stayner Care Centre, plus 79 new beds and
23 apartment rental units on the 1st floor.

Construction got officially underway in the spring of 2023, with completion
expected by the early fall of 2025. The building is to be constructed of masony
bearing walls with hollow core precast floors and roof. The exterior will be brick
veneer with siding.
