As founding President of Melloul–Blamey, Bernie Melloul has built a company with a ’Stirling’ reputation. His vast experience has seen the construction of schools, hospitals, nursing homes, arenas and industrial facilities all over Ontario.

Bernie and David Blamey initially started out as a two–man shop, finding and completing multiple projects, while astutely growing a humble business into a major force in the construction industry.

Bernie adopts a management style that attracts quality, loyal employees – true experts in their respective disciplines – who find longstanding homes. Many Melloul–Blamey employees are in their second decade with the company, which is a tremendous accomplishment for an industry rife with high employee turn–over rates and regularly in dire need of qualified, competent labourers and trades people.

Bernie has been recognized with many industry and community awards, primarily for his encouragement of expanding education within the industry. He has a strong safety record and a passionate commitment for the orderly transition of a 10–year succession plan, thereby ensuring the company’s strength for many more years.
